A Bold and Inspired Vision for the Future places Carmel Catholic at the forefront of transforming the student experience. Through the largest philanthropic campaign in the school's history, three primary pillars focus on student experience, financial accessibility, and sustainability.

With the formal announcement of A Bold and Inspired Vision for the Future, Carmel Catholic is at the forefront of transforming the student experience. Through this Campaign, the creation of a state-of-the-art student center—via a re-imagined cafeteria, student lounge, and courtyard—plus the stunning expansion of the auditorium foyer, all designed to promote community, gratitude, and joy, headline the Campaign’s three primary pillars focused on student wellness, financial accessibility, and sustainability.

Students Attend Catholic Youth Climate Summit

On February 23, 23 students from the Environmental Club and Garden Club went to St. Ignatius for the Catholic Youth Climate Summit. Here, students shared ideas about what they are doing at their schools, and hope to do in the future to help our schools be more sustainable.

NYAN Robotics is Headed to World Championship

On Saturday, March 1, NYAN Robotics dominated at the State Championship. After going undefeated in the qualifying matches, they became the first alliance captain going into the double-elimination championship bracket. Not only did they remain undefeated, but they also broke the state score record and have the third-best score in the world. As a team, they are ranked 19th globally. In April, they will join approximately 100 teams in Houston, Texas, for the World Championship.

Two Carmel Catholic Seniors Named National Merit Scholarship Program Finalists

The National Merit Scholarship Program has determined which of the 16,000 Semifinalists named in September 2024 met all requirements to advance to Finalist standing in the competition. Congratulations to Noah Green '25 and Laurel Fullerton '25 for being named Finalists! The selection of 7,000 Merit Scholarship winners from the group of more than 15,000 Finalists is now in progress.

Carmel Catholic High School is proud to announce that 61 seniors have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars! This prestigious award is based on the combination of students’ exemplary ACT/SAT scores and their GPA. Congratulations, Corsairs!

Esmeralda Mora named Illinois Foreign Language Teacher of the Year

Each year, Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ICTFL) names an outstanding world language educator as its Illinois Teacher of the Year. The awardee becomes a candidate for the Central States Conference Regional Teacher of the Year Award and serves as an ICTFL delegate to Language Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C. The ICTFL award is intended to elevate the profession's status at the state, regional, and national levels by creating opportunities for recognizing the most accomplished members of the profession.
